Soil: Dry to medium, sandy or well-drained soil. (Drought tolerant; dislikes heavy, wet clay).

Height & Spread: 1–3 ft tall; 1–2 ft wide.

Visually striking: The “flowers” are actually showy pink/lavender bracts that hold small, yellow, purple-spotted blooms.

Stays in “bloom” for a very long time because the colorful bracts remain after the flowers fade.

A favorite of specialized pollinators, particularly predatory wasps (which are beneficial for pest control) and butterflies.
